How do I submit my Medicare claim?
Where a valid referral has been recieved prior to your appointment, our system will automatically submit your Medicare claim. Please advise if you do not want this to be processed. For more information on Medicare rebates, please refer to the Pricelist page.
Is this Medicare Covered?
Yes, Medicare provides coverage through rebates, adhering to the specific amounts determined by Medicare. These rebates may increase in 2025 following a review by Medicare.
Why Do we need to Prepay?
As part of our clinic policy, we require prepayment to reduce no-shows and optimise Dr. Mason’s availability for all patients. Please make sure to settle your payment 4-8 days before your consultation.
Do I need a Referral
A referral is optional for your consultation. However, to qualify for Medicare coverage, a referral is necessary. Please refer to the pricelist for detailed information on the consultation rebate.
Dr. Paul Mason's consultation rate is determined by the duration of the appointment. For further details, please consult our price list page.
Can I have a copy of my test result?

Does Dr Paul Mason see international patients?
Dr. Paul Mason's medical insurance does not cover consultations with patients outside Australia at the time of consultation. All consultations, including telehealth, must take place while the patient is in Australia. International citizens may consult with Dr. Mason only if they are physically in Australia at the time of consultation. Please note that Medicare rebates do not apply to these consultations.
Can I have Permission to record the consultation?
We allow patients to record their consultations for our website to enhance resources for future visitors. Your privacy and confidentiality will be respected throughout this process. If you have any concerns, please feel free to discuss them with us.
